Comes Love Duo

Grammy-Nominated, Broadway actress Alexandra Foucard and David Sisco, whose music premiered at Carnegie Hall in 2014 collaborate on Comes Love.  David’s signature arrangements highlight an eclectic mix of jazz standards, musical theater, contemporary and country music with surprising original mashups. Foucard and Sisco have garnered a significant following after performing Comes Love at Tin Pan Alley in Provincetown throughout the Summer of 2015 and most recently The Triad NYC. Their growing repertoire reflects their rich backgrounds and interest in creating unique storytelling through all kinds of music.



Alexandra Foucard

Alexandra Foucard is a Grammy-Nominated, Broadway Actor. This renaissance woman sets her own boundaries. Born in Haiti, she considers herself to be to be an amalgamation of cultures and ethnicities with a big dollop of spirituality.  Many of Ms. Foucard’s roles have brought her accolades including an NAACP Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Play, and two Helen Hayes Nominations. Some of her favorite roles just to include Adelaide in Guys and Dolls (opposite Maurice Hines) Broadway National Tour,  Fantine in Les Miserables on BroadwayPansy in House of Flowers at Encores! Off-Center at City Center.  Ms. Foucard enjoys expanding her art to film and television.  Cold Feet, is a film project she starred in. It garnered an Honorable Mention in the ABBF Festival.

Alexandra is currently in pre-production for Park Slope Moms, a wacky comedic web-series she created.



David Sisco is a member of the Dramatists Guild and BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theater Workshop (Advanced) and is an alumnus of the New Dramatists Composer- Librettist Studio in New York. He is the author of Here I Am: A Musical Personal Ad, Variations on a Theme of You, and BAIT nSWISH. David is currently collaborating with book writer/lyricist Tom Gualtieri on two musicals: Falling to Earth, and Im Afraid, Youre Afraid: 448 Things to Fear And Why and LA-based playwright Sylvan Oswald on a forthcoming show. A winner of the 2010 NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing) Composition Award, David is a prolific art song composer. His songs have been heard at concerts produced by Friends & Enemies of New Music, New Music New York, Joy in Singing, Lyricfest, Songfest, Songfusion and, most recently, at Carnegie Hall. Sisco has been commissioned by Manhattan Girls Chorus, Mirari Brass Quintet, Cayuga Vocal Ensemble and Minnesota State University Moorhead. David has served on the voice faculties of Northeastern and Suffolk University, and currently teaches private voice at Marymount Manhattan College. He also maintains a private studio in New York and leads masterclasses around the country on preparing contemporary art song and musical theatre. With business partner Laura Josepher, David runs, a resource that helps teachers, students and professionals find well-written, largely unpublished contemporary musical theatre songs. He has served on the artistic board for Encores! Off-Center at City Center (Jeanine Tesori, Artistic Director).
